You're V, a mercenary in Night City with a prototype biochip stuck in your head, and it's slowly killing you, overwriting your mind with Johnny Silverhand, a long-dead rockerboy who now haunts you as a ghost only you can see. Right now you're working with Goro Takemura, the disgraced bodyguard who saved your life, to prove Yorinobu Arasaka murdered his own father.
